A sneak peek into my new doll !
It's a Geisha (a Maiko actually), and while I'm done sculpting it I still have lots of work now with the hair and the kimono. Wish me luck!
My previous Geisha doll, Madame Butterfly, was painted with white acrylic on top of the polymer clay. That was not very efficient and so I chose a different approach now, by adding white polymer clay to the mixture (40% white/60% Cernit flesh). I was very pleased with the result as it looks very natural, and saved me a lot of time.

I have just finished and uploaded a new page about my polymer clay dolls, which will act as a central hub to my every project and tutorial I've done so far.

I finally managed to make the dress of Queen Iris, spent most of the night actually...
It's ready from the waist down, I'm now making the bodice and the upper/shoulder decorations. I'm trying various approaches and methods so this may not be the final result. When I'm done with the dress I will begin making the hair and then the fun part comes of adding embellishments, jewellery e.t.c.!
